We are a Saxophone Big Band, - sopranos, altos, tenors and baritones with elctric guitar, bass and piano, drum kit and auxiliary percussion.
 
Soundbyte has its own sound rig with a professional mixing desk and clip-on mikes for every horn, so that improvised solos can be enhanced
 
Our music has to be specially commissioned and we have been incredibly lucky to procure scores from sevreral amazing composers and arrangers including Johnnie Jones who was previously the staff writer for the RAF, and Phillipe Marillia who sends us wonderful versions of well known charts from his base in France.
 
At our concerts you can enjoy a very wide range of styles such as jazz, blues, reaggae, soul, pop and rock. Soundbyte is original and unique, a dedicated band of teenage talent, bursting with energy.
